Ahmet OZDAL
Ahmet Özdal was born in 1972 in Devrek. He completed his primary and secondary education in Zonguldak and graduated in 1993 from the Department of City and Regional Planning at the Faculty of Architecture of Yıldız Technical University. Following his graduation, he worked for three years as a city and regional planner at the Istanbul Governorship Directorate of Public Works and Housing and at Bem Construction Contracting Ltd.
Between January 1996 and December 2007, he served as a founding partner of Kent Yapı Planning Architecture Engineering Construction and Contracting Ltd. Co., where he took responsibility as a planning author for various planning projects across Turkey at different scales and types. During this period, he provided services in mapping and zoning implementation, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and certified expert witness services. He currently serves as an expropriation expert in the provinces of Istanbul, Kocaeli, and Tekirdağ.
Since December 2007, he has continued his professional career as a partner at Bige Construction Contracting Inc. He is a member of the Chamber of City Planners (TMMOB). He completed his MBA at Okan University and obtained the title of Master City and Regional Planner. He served as the President of the Akfırat Branch of the Turkish Red Crescent between 2009 and 2012, and as a member of the Denizli Regional Commission of the General Directorate for the Protection of Natural Assets under the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization between 2017 and 2018. He is married and has three children.
