Within the scope of articles published in various journals, several studies have been conducted on planning issues in the coastal areas of Istanbul and the Marmara Region, planning and development rights in organized industrial zones, and regional evaluations following the August 17, 1999 earthquake. These studies have been published in journals such as Mare Nostrum, Güney Mimarlık, Mimarist, Mimarizm, and Mimarlık.

Within the scope of refereed conference and symposium papers, numerous presentations have been made particularly on the planning of Istanbul’s coastal areas, the impact of legal and institutional frameworks on planning, the preparation processes of coastal management plans, and the effects of large-scale projects on urban–coastal relationships. These studies have been presented both in national platforms and international organizations (such as Mare Nostrum and ISoCaRP).

Contributions have also been made to various academic publications in the form of books and book chapters focusing on coastal areas, urban design, planning education, and regional development planning.

In addition, technical evaluation and expert reports have been prepared regarding zoning plans, organized industrial zones, and urban implementation processes, and professional expertise in planning continues to be maintained.
